Sustainable Practices & Materials
At ASM Tech, we are committed to using high-quality materials and implementing sustainable practices in all our operations, with the goal of being net zero.
Our closed-loop recycling process involves our production waste (excess material, offcuts, returns) being ground into granules and re-processed into new sheets. This eliminates production waste and minimises our reliance on virgin materials.
Sustainable Practices: A Commitment to Environmental Stewardship
Although the use of plastics is difficult to avoid in this industry, we strive to minimise our ecological impact by utilising recycled materials whenever possible. Giving our customers a variety of options that, when suitable, prioritise recycled materials for their projects.
Furthermore, we are committed to achieving a target of zero landfill waste, through our working practices and waste management processes throughout the business.
Recycling Programme: Turning Waste into Resources
Our comprehensive recycling programme transforms production waste into valuable resources. Following each forming process, material offcuts, waste or damaged stock are meticulously sorted by type and colour.
These items will be collected by our approved recycling partners, to be processed into granules, which can be used to produce new plastic sheets for other manufacturing applications and products.
Separate clean, old, waste or damaged trays
Granulate ready for re-use
Heat and extrude to new sheets
